Sunrise Stingray City with a rainbow

Well the rainy season has officially begun here in Cayman, or as we like to call it, the Rainbow season. That does not mean we get a lot of rain, and it doesn’t mean that when it does rain it lasts all day. All it means is there is a higher chance of showers and I have to mow my lawn more often.
This beautiful picture was taken by a guest on our Sunrise Stingray City tour. Imagine being at the number one tourist attraction in of the Caribbean with only a handful of people and seeing something as beautiful as this. Not a bad way to start your day! Our new Cruiser Stand Up Paddle Boards have arrived on island and we have just cleared them through customs. We chose two different sizes and adjustable paddles to be able to accomodate riders of all shapes & sizes as well as skill level. I can’t wait to get them in the water tomorrow!

Happy weekend everybody! It’s a beautiful day here in Grand Cayman (when isn’t it?), and even though I am at work, there is no job I would rather be doing. Working on the beach, playing in the water, and snorkelling some of the best reefs in the caribbean, I am lucky to be able to do what I do for a living. I hope you are enjoying your day off, or if you are at work today like me, I hope you are enjoying your job as much as I am. Cheers!

Great feedback for our Sunrise Stingray City Tours

We knew as soon as we starting doing our Sunrise Stingray City Tours that they would be a success. Who wouldn’t want to visit the sandbar and all those friendly stingrays with just a few other people? What we didn’t know was just how overwhelmingly positive the feedback would be.
Here is a little excerpt from a recent trip advisor post;

If you plan on snorkeling with the stingrays, this is the tour you should take. We had to wake up early, but it was so worth it. We were the only boat at the sandbar, and the rays were there before we even stopped the boat. The 11 of us had basically our own personal snorkel with the rays. I can’t imagine doing this tour any other way now. I have been to Stingray City snorkeling at least twice before, and it was always big boats and mobs of people. We spent about 45 minutes with the rays, then moved on to a snorkeling spot nearby and watched as boat after boat showed up. Wake up early for the tour with Captain Chris, it is worth it. It was a great way for our 5 year old to experience snorkeling for the first time, too, I think he would have been overwhelmed if we were on one of the big boats.
